First Friday FreeUp

Brainstorm!

Friday, September 2

6:00-9:00 pm

Xiscali Mexican Restaurant

920 E Gregory St, Pensacola, FL 32502

As Humanists of West Florida (which sponsors the GC Freethingers) launches into its new planning year, this month's FreeUp discussion will revolve around brainstorming what a humanist organization on the Gulf Coast looks like: What does the freethinker community want and need? What role does HWF have to play? What projects, events, activities should we consider organizing or hosting? From 6 to 7 we'll do our regular free-for-all, but then we're going to do something a little different for the discussion portion of the evening. We'll break into small groups for some short, intense discussions, then these groups will report back to the large group, and we'll finish with a general discussion on the ideas generated. Have some fun with this -- no ideas are too far-fetched when you're brainstorming!
